About
Over nearly two decades, I've had the privilege of working across a range of industries, from web design and advertising to mobile gaming, health tech, and now at Walmart.
I spent 8 years leading a team at a mobile gaming startup Strom8. We juggled multiple game projects, refining our ability to create engaging player experiences swiftly. It was a crash course in iterative design, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative teamwork across tech, product, and art.
Transitioning into health tech, I brought my gaming background to CareZone, where I focused on improving the customer experience of our health management/pharmacy application. Our efforts paid off with improved customer metrics, contributing to our successful acquisition by Walmart.
Now, as Director of Design at Walmart, I oversee a design team of 20 designers supporting Pharmacy, Vision Centers, and Horizontal Capabilities. Collaborating with several product organizations and supported by a large engineering force, my focus remains on creative direction, strategic planning, and fostering collaboration. I prioritize a pragmatic approach, ensuring we balance meticulous craftsmanship and visual quality with feasibility for engineering implementation and meeting deadlines. Emphasizing predictability and transparency, I strive to keep us aligned with our partners and stakeholders while always keeping the focus on the customer.
